Scratch – Scratch the vinyl in the club. [Stray] (1/1/2023)
So, I want my first platinum of 2023 to be Stray because I really love this game (and someone suggested it to me in the advise the plat thread) so I got to work cleaning up the trophies I haven’t yet acquired. There were 11 trophies I needed in order to get this plat and most of them I knocked out before the clock ticked over. The rest I got after. Now, there’s two trophies left – I am Speed and the plat.

One thing I can’t stand to see in a game is hand holding. And if you don’t know what that means, allow me to explain. Hand holding is basically where the game treats you like a child, holding your hand and walking you through it as if you’re too much of a dumbass to figure it out yourself. This is super prevalent* in mobile games. Even after the tutorial is finished, it still pops up with shit like “click here to start the next level” like you haven’t already clicked that exact button 10 times to start the feckin level.
Now listen, I’ll be the first to admit that I’m slow as fuck. I’m dumb and it takes my brain longer to process shit than most, but even this is too far. It’s like they think the player is a 3 year old that needs to be told exactly how to play the game every 60 seconds. It’s annoying as hell.

So, the Mass Effect Legendary Edition is one of the free games on PS4 this month. I’ve heard of the game, seen some clips, but I figured it wasn’t for me. I don’t like the space genre and aliens don’t really interest me, but the game is free so I was like, why not. I started playing it last night and HOLY SHIT YO I’m actually really enjoying the game! I want to keep playing and I’m really happy with how my character turned out. I never thought they let you have a custom character, that’s so cool. Meet Tiger Shepard, guys:

This is my baby ❤ The main car I’ve used throughout my game and my go-to car. I love him so much and one day I hope to have him in real life too. Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec (1993) the same year I was born and a beautiful piece of machinery.
Holy shit was it a pain to track down all of those damn cars but with the help of this post on reddit, it was easier than it would have been without the list. But it’s done, the game has been 100% completed (minus prestige because fuck that mess.)
It’s kinda cool that my driving style is most like Magnus since he’s one of my favs 😀 And here’s my driver details!
Honestly, I know it’s been for fucking ever since I started this game and it took me forever to get the game finished, but it was a lot of fun. Plus, it rains so much in this game and it’s so beautiful.
It’s been a fun journey, but it’s time to delete this game and move on. Farewell, Need for Speed 2015 ❤
I finally hit 70 today (10/12/20)! My journey on this game was supposed to end after 70 BUT I discovered that the game is only 90% completed – I still have to finish the spontaneous events against all of the cars to get 100% but I’m determined to finish that tonight! I have 17 cars left and I’ll post my driver details once I’ve finally finished it. Now I just have to choose which game to go to next 😀
