A quick little disclaimer: if you came here looking for a professional review, you came to the wrong place lmao Rather than a review, these are more like… my thoughts about the game. There’s nothing professional hereย at all. You’ve been warned.

Okay, so, I saw this listed on the F2P thread and added it to my library. It didn’t look like anything super impressive on the store so I didn’t download it right away, then I saw a comment about the game saying it didn’t take too long to complete. Since one of my Bingo slots is a game you can complete in one sitting, I thought I’d give it a try and see if I could knock it out quickly and if I could add it to my list. First off, there’s no story so I’m not going to include it. Secondly… well, I don’t wanna say it’s terrible but it’s definitely not for me.

[challenge] Bingo Bonanza 2023

I’m not sure how to start this lol I joined this event over on PSNProfiles (original post here) and I thought it looked really fun so I joined it for 2023. I’m not sure if I’ll finish this since I’m terrible at finishing anything, but here we go! ๐Ÿ˜€ Even if you don’t play PlayStation, I’d still encourage you to give it a go (with credit, of course) because it seems like it’s gonna be a lot of fun!

The rules are fairly simple:
– Each player gets a randomly generated card.
– The goal is 5 boxes but I wanna go for a blackout (the whole card).
– Must complete a game that fulfills the box’s challenge.
– One game per box, no repeats.
– Game completion is story, not plat/100%.
– Game must have achievements.

My first update of 2023

First Trophy:

So, I want my first platinum of 2023 to be Stray because I really love this game (and someone suggested it to me in the advise the plat thread) so I got to work cleaning up the trophies I haven’t yet acquired. There were 11 trophies I needed in order to get this plat and most of them I knocked out before the clock ticked over. The rest I got after. Now, there’s two trophies left – I am Speed and the plat.

Things that annoy me in games part 1; hand holding and tutorials

One thing I can’t stand to see in a game is hand holding. And if you don’t know what that means, allow me to explain. Hand holding is basically where the game treats you like a child, holding your hand and walking you through it as if you’re too much of a dumbass to figure it out yourself. This is super prevalent* in mobile games. Even after the tutorial is finished, it still pops up with shit like “click here to start the next level” like you haven’t already clicked that exact button 10 times to start the feckin level.

Now listen, I’ll be the first to admit that I’m slow as fuck. I’m dumb and it takes my brain longer to process shit than most, but even this is too far. It’s like they think the player is a 3 year old that needs to be told exactly how to play the game every 60 seconds. It’s annoying as hell.

  14. Start Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.
  15. Buy and finish Modern Warfare II.

My 2022 PlayStation Wrap-Up (โ ~โ โ€พโ โ–ฟโ โ€พโ )โ ~

Another year of epic games, cool trophies, and beautiful stories. I’m sad because I abandoned the PS4 for several months this year. Which, really, isn’t a surprise, but still… I wanted to up my stats from last year but I’m pretty sure I fell short haha I think I spent less than half the year playing ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

Well, there’s always next year, I suppose. I’m also sad that Skyrim didn’t make the top 5, but I think I returned after they stopped counting the stats! Kinda makes me want to wait until the 1st to keep gaming haha That makes me wonder… when do they start counting the stats for the Wrap-Up? Do they start after the Wrap-Up is posted or do they wait until the 1st of January? ๐Ÿค”

Either way, this year flew by and it certainly wasn’t easy, but gaming made it a lot easier!

Tiger Says, โI’m surprised!โž

So, the Mass Effect Legendary Edition is one of the free games on PS4 this month. I’ve heard of the game, seen some clips, but I figured it wasn’t for me. I don’t like the space genre and aliens don’t really interest me, but the game is free so I was like, why not. I started playing it last night and HOLY SHIT YO I’m actually really enjoying the game! I want to keep playing and I’m really happy with how my character turned out. I never thought they let you have a custom character, that’s so cool. Meet Tiger Shepard, guys:

It’ll suck if I can’t use her in the other ME games, but that’s future me’s problem. For now, I’mma keep enjoying this character and this cool story! ๐Ÿ˜€ You can watch my terrible playthrough here:
